PagPol uses AI tools in specific, limited ways, and a person reviews every use before anything is published.

Where we use it. AI tools help with early drafts of routine, repeatable content — formatting county data, organizing public records, and similar structural work — and with day-to-day site maintenance. AI does not generate a fact-check verdict, a quote, or a factual claim without a person checking it against a primary source first.

Where we don’t. We do not use AI to write original analysis or investigative reporting, to fabricate or paraphrase quotes, or to decide what a fact-check’s verdict should be. Every fact-check on this site is sourced to named, linked primary documents, and a human editor confirms those sources before publication.

If we get something wrong. Tell us. We correct the record when we make a mistake — human or AI-assisted — and note corrections on the affected article. See our Standards & Practices page for our full corrections policy.
