PagPol exists to answer one question for every New Yorker outside the five boroughs: what is actually happening in my county’s government, and who is making the decisions that affect me. We publish nonpartisan, county-by-county coverage of elections, town and county board meetings, and the elected officials on your ballot — organized by geography, not by ideology.
Our Mission
Most political coverage in New York flows through a handful of statewide and national outlets. That leaves county government — where property tax rates, road budgets, school board seats, and zoning decisions actually get decided — with almost no scrutiny. PagPol was built to close that gap. Every county page tracks upcoming votes, bill action, and the public record of local elected officials, built for readers who want to know what’s happening before they decide who to vote for.
How We Cover New York

We source directly from public records, government meeting minutes, and official filings, and we correct the record when we get something wrong.
